Did you know that Sultan Mosque is the biggest mosque in Singapore?!! ... It is. (I googled it hee hee)
Interesting facts: The mosque was designed by an Irish architect built in a ethnic quarter marked out by an Englishman. Cool huh!!
Anyway in case anyone of you out there visit Singapore and would like to look around the mosque, there's visiting hours for non-muslims and some useful info here.
Visiting Hours for Non-Muslims:
- Saturday to Thursday: 9.00am - 12.45pm, 2.00pm - 4.00pm
- Friday: 2.30pm - 4.00pm
- You may want to call the Sultan Mosque office at (+65) 6293 4405 to find out when you can go on a guided tour or attend a talk meant for non-Muslims.
